PLAVIS™ is an ultra-high performance plastic based on polyimide and is available in the form of semi-finished and finished parts.

The PLAVIS™ material is characterized by a complex property profile with a lot of outstanding individual properties and thus occupies the top position among plastic materials. PLAVIS™ performs the most demanding tasks in all areas of industry – electronics, aerospace, transportation, machinery and heavy equipment, semiconductors, solar equipment and flat screen manufacturing. PLAVIS™ is comparable to Vespel® and can be used wherever there is a need to seal something securely, minimize wear and friction, withstand high temperatures and harsh operating conditions and, last but not least, save weight.
