Sliding & conveying elements

Comco-Premium & Comco-Classic materials in conveying technology

Gleit- und Förderelemente – Comco EPP

Almost all industrial sectors, but especially companies in the beverage and packaging machine industry as well as in conveying technology, require components made of thermoplastics on a large scale for the production of their machines and systems.

For more than 40 years, we have been supplying chain guides, extruded profiles, cam guides, semi-finished products and finished parts at a high technical level for this branch of industry. With our materials Comco-Premium & Comco-Classic we offer ultra-high molecular weight polyethylenes (PE-UHMW), which meet the increasing requirements for guide elements.

Chain tensioner

In order to achieve a good retensioning capability with a high sliding ability, our automatic and also manually adjustable chain tensioners are manufactured with sliding elements made of Comco-Premium & Comco-Classic.

Advantages:

  1. noise damping
  2. vibration damping
  3. self-lubricating
  4. maintenance-free
  5. highly wear-resistant
  6. very stable construction
  7. large clamping range

Types:

  • automatic chain tensioner with semi-circular sliding element
  • automatic chain tensioner with curved sliding element
  • manual chain tensioner with semi-circular sliding element

All profiles, variants and dimensions as well as further information can be found in our catalogue Sliding and Conveying Elements.

Lining materials

When lining bunkers and silos, there are always disturbances in the working process due to caking and bridging. This phenomenon results from the fact that the material flow is not guaranteed due to an unfavourable friction ratio between the wall and the bulk material. This leads to compaction and bridging.

To prevent this, there are our Comco-Premium & Comco-Classic lining qualities. These are ideally suited for transporting sticky materials (e.g. moist lignite and clay), hot bulk materials (e.g. asphalt) or materials that require high impact resistance (e.g. lumps of rock or gravel).

  1. high abrasion resistance
  2. no water absorption
  3. high impact strength
  4. anti-adhesive behaviour

Fields of application:

  • wood industry (wood chip bunkers, screw trough lining)
  • power plants (coal bunkers)
  • agricultural technology (animal feed and artificial fertiliser)
  • food industry (salt and sugar)
  • construction industry (cement, gravel, sand, etc.)

All profiles, variants and dimensions as well as further information can be found in our catalogue Sliding and Conveying Elements.

Screw conveyors

Plastic screw conveyors are characterised above all by their low wear and low weight.
Screws can be manufactured with high precision from almost all plastics. Furthermore, we can offer you curved elements for screw trough lining.

Fields of application:

  • conveying
  • compression
  • dosing etc.
  • all applications in the wood, beverage and food industry

All profiles, variants and dimensions as well as further information can be found in our catalogue Sliding and Conveying Elements.

Log drivers

For applications in the woodworking and sawing industry, our Comco-Classic driver quality is a high-performance wear and abrasion resistant partner. Many of our customers from the domestic timber industry rely on our material.

Advantages:

  1. very high wear or abrasion resistance
  2. low coefficient of sliding friction
  3. very high notched impact strength
  4. no moisture absorption
  5. high UV resistance
  6. self-lubricating
  7. noise damping

All profiles, variants and dimensions as well as further information can be found in our catalogue Sliding and Conveying Elements.

Comco-Powerglide

A material that keeps its promises! Our Comco-Powerglide, the top material for sliding elements of all kinds with high loads. Many technical applications require particularly good material properties. To achieve these, lubricant additives are integrated into the plastic matrix. The lubricant is repeatedly released at the contact surface and becomes effective. The sliding values are improved enormously without additional external lubrication and friction and wear are reduced.

Colour: green

Advantages:

  1. very high wear or abrasion resistance
  2. low coefficient of sliding friction
  3. very high notched impact strength
  4. no moisture absorption
  5. high UV resistance
  6. self-lubricating
  7. noise dampening

Our Powerglide green is a specially modified polyamide 6 cast type! PA 6 G. Mod.

Types:

  • semi-finished products (rods, sheets, blanks)
  • finished parts according to customer requirements

All profiles, variants and dimensions as well as further information can be found in our catalogue Sliding and Conveying Elements.
